From 11 to 18 September 2016, the first exhibition in Russia dedicated to the ancient spiritual traditions of the Himalayan region and the kingdom of Zhang Zhung, the cradle of Tibetan civilization, was held in Moscow. Some of items were exhibited for the first time in history, such as the replica of the seal of the last king of Zhang Zhung, personal clothing and beads of elders and masters of the tradition given by them specially for this event.
For those who could not come to Moscow, we are preparing a film dedicated to the exhibition. You will be able to see the exhibits, and even do a little virtual tour.
The exhibition gained a wide international attention, our video about the event was watched by more than 100 thousand people. It is a great joy for us, and we would like to thank our friends from other countries: France, Poland, America, India, Tibet and China, and to thank all those who supported our project and followed it closely.
We had been preparing for this exhibition for 9 months, and are immensely happy that it could eventually take place. And now we would like to offer great appreciation, gratitude and respect to those without whom this event would not be possible:
His Holiness the 33th Menri Tridzin Rinpoche, His Eminence Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, Menri Lopon Trinley Nyima Rinpoche, Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, Arta Lama Rinpoche, Thogme Sherab Rinpoche, Geshe Rinchen Tenzin Rinpoche, Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche - thank you so much for your support and help!
It is thanks to your blessings that this exhibition became possible in Russia! We thank heartily and express our deepest respect on behalf of all the participants! We hope that our modest contribution will help to share and preserve the ancient tradition of the Himalayan region.
